I am a self taught artist based out of Leadville, Colorado and I grew up in Canon City. I took interest in art at a young age and I strived for excellence in every art class, home project, or any assignment that required some sort of creativity. Nearing the end of my highschool career I took every art class possible before taking a whole different direction with my life. I thought the idea of me being an artist was so crazy, I didn’t even consider it. For college I moved up to Leadville and graduated with an Outdoor Recreation degree back in 2019. While earning my degree, I was networking with the community to find any chance to create art or sell it (and also doodling my way through every class). Once I realized chasing my wildest dreams was an actual possibility, I jumped right in.
My favorite medium is watercolor and ink. I love the way watercolors flow on the paper and blend together. As with any of my paintings, I have intentional line and color placement. I get lost in the lines when I’m creating, it’s something I could do for hours and hours and not notice the time go by.
