Upon moving to Colorado over a decade ago, I was inspired by brief prospecting trips to continue an education for geology. Then, during my first year of college, I was taught how to facet gemstones by a professor who ultimately became a great influence in my chosen career path. As my skills continued to grow over the years, I landed an internship with a local jewelry company learning the art of casting and gold/silver smithing. Now a college graduate, this refined love for gems and minerals has launched my quest to bring you custom gemstones and jewelry. With the current growing market, most jewelry is imported from other countries to keep overhead costs down. However, at Borek Gemstones & Jewelry, we believe in keeping production local to ensure quality craftsmanship. All our jewelry is manufactured by our company in Denver, Colorado. Each piece is designed locally and hand cast with set gemstones from our mine or surrounding prospects. We believe every piece of jewelry should have a story which is why all our products are crafted for each individual occasion.
