MARJORIE WESTERMANN

In 1975, I was working as a meat cutter at Safeway.   A lovely HR woman asked me if I had a hobby, and thereby my incredible ceramics journey began.

I am currently working with a propane fueled 18 cubic foot kiln,  firing to Cone 5/6 about 2232 degrees Fahrenheit.   Lead free glazes, micro wave and dishwasher safe.  My functional ware is made to be used.

Wedging begins the process of making a clay piece.   This is similar to kneading dough for bread-  every fold holding good nourishing thoughts.

Hold art with your eyes, your heart, your hands and find new joy.    Art is Life, meant to be shared.
